How to Setup Your Dummy Box Files
-
Supply a Flat Net (Dieline): Please supply your artwork overlaid onto a flat, unfolded engineering dieline. Use separate, clearly labeled layers for Artwork, Cut Lines (solid lines), and Crease/Score Lines (dashed lines).
-
Test with a Paper Prototype: If you are engineering the shape yourself, we highly recommend printing out a basic paper mock-up at home to roughly check the tabs and interlocking flaps fold in the correct direction.
-
Bleed & Quiet Zones: Include a standard 3mm bleed past all outer cutting edges. Keep all text, nutritional information, and barcodes at least 3mm away from any score or fold lines to avoid cracking or visual misalignment.
-
File Format: Please supply your structural template as a vector-based PDF or Adobe Illustrator (.AI) file.
