Wiro binding allows for a massive amount of customization. Use these options as a specification checklist or dropdown selector for your customers.
Standard Sizes:
- A4 (210mm x 297mm) — The industry standard for corporate reports, manuals, and presentations.
- A5 (148mm x 210mm) — Highly popular for journals, notebooks, and compact guides.
- A6 / Square / Bespoke — Custom sizes are completely supported.
Available in both Portrait and Landscape orientations (Landscape A4 is perfect for presentation decks).
Wire Colours:
- Silver / Black / White: Our standard, highly professional wire options to perfectly complement your branding or cover art.
Cover Upgrades & Protection:
- Acetate Protective Covers: A clear, thick plastic front cover and a frosted or solid black back cover to protect the document from spills and scuffs.
- Heavyweight Card Covers: A premium 350gsm or 400gsm cardstock cover, printed in full color.
Inner Paper Weights & Finishes:
- 120gsm / 160gsm Uncoated: Crisp, bright white, and premium. The perfect weight if users need to write inside the booklet (e.g., training workbooks or planners).
- 130gsm / 150gsm / 170gsm Silk or Gloss: Smooth, coated finishes that make color graphics, photography, and charts vividly stand out.
Cover Lamination:
- Matt / Gloss / Soft-Touch (Velvet): Added to heavy card covers for extra luxury and durability.
Artwork
Setting up files for wiro binding requires a little extra attention to the inner margins where the wire holes will be punched:

File Format: Please supply your artwork as a single, multi-page, print-ready PDF with pages in sequential order.

The “Punch Zone” Margin: Because holes will be punched along the spine, you must leave a larger margin on the binding edge. We recommend keeping all critical text, numbers, and logos at least 12mm to 15mm away from the binding edge so nothing gets clipped by the wire holes.

Bleed & Safe Zone: Include a standard 3mm bleed on all outer edges of your pages, and keep elements on the non-binding edges 5mm away from the trim line.

Page Count Flexibility: Unlike stapled booklets, your page count does not need to be a multiple of 4. We can bind any number of pages (even or odd numbers), as long as the document has at least 10 pages.
